YOUNG STAGE - INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL
A quite unremarkable conversation over a cup of coffee around 18 years ago led me into the fascinating world of the contemporary circus. This spring will be the 15th time that I will be able to immerse myself in the daily life of the incredible performers who visit Basel every year.
TALENTS FOR THE SKY
Over the years, documenting and portraying the life of Swiss military and civil pilots, and the para-recon operator unit for SPHAIR has provided me the opportunity to experience some "crazy" working environments and the unique chance to see the world from new and exciting perspectives.
STAGED REALISM
Staged every-day situations with normal people at their workplace, photographed under controlled artificial light situations, and carefully directed to create believable images for advertising.

PRETTY THINGS
A friend of mine is a designer. The kind of designer that knows better. He enjoys teasing me about me being one of "those" that "photograph pretty things". I don't think he realizes that the things that I photograph, most of the time, are not that pretty.
LOCATION PORTRAITS
CEOs, politicians, athletes, actors, ... formal and not so formal. For editorial use, for advertisement or social media. These images only have one thing in common, ... well known people being themselves.
